Bedouin tents

We provide private Bedouin tents equipped with beds, matteresses, blankets, pillows and sheets. Bedouin tents are made from goathair and this was traditionally woven by Bedouin women. They would manage the whole process of collecting the goathair preparing it, spinning it and finally weaving it in long strips which would then be made into a black and white tent.

Our Main Tent

Our camp has one large cosy tent for our guests to spend the evening in. The tent is decorated in the traditional Bedouin style. We serve dinner in this tent, as well as providing a fire in the cold months. We often enjoy traditional Bedouin music (but not always every single night) which consists of a Oud player, and a tabla player.

Our Veranda

During warmer summer nights we can sit outside on the veranda complete with a firepit and built in seats. This space can also be used during the day especially in the cooler winter daytime's.

Bedouin Dinner

We serve delicious traditional Bedouin meals for dinner. This can include Zaarb (mouthwatering chicken and vegetables cooked under the sand on hot charcoal) and dishes like manseff, maglouba and molokhia. Vegetarian options can be provided on request.

Every dinner is served with rice, pita bread, Middle Eastern salads and one or two side dishes.

Bathrooms

The camp has a modern bathroom block divided into two sections. One for men and one for women. Each section has western toilets in private cubicles, shower cubicles, sinks (washbasins) and running water.

Free Extras

Included for no extra charge. Just step outside your tent or the social tent and you will have unlimited access to enjoy the spectacular night sky. Star or moon gaze to your heart's content.

Or at least until the warm fire and good company beckons.
